And that goes for university students as well, but for now, UB's board is focused on finding a new president. Fonseca says they've gotten plenty of applicants but there's still time for more before they start assessing them.

"Yeah, my understanding from a very brief report that I received from the chairman and that is that they had extended the deadline for the deadline has not expired as yet. I believe it is November fifth is the deadline, so we'll have to wait and see after the deadline passes. I think they've received a number of applicants applications after November fifth, we will be able to assess them properly due to our knowledge."

"Is the university's board considering perhaps keeping Dr. Palacio on in a permanent capacity?"

"I'm not sure. I'm not sure about that. I don't know if he has applied. He is one of the applicants, but certainly if he has applied, he will be considered."
