The name of the next event doesn't exactly glide off the tongue. It's a Taiwanese funded initiative called (wait for it) "Empowering of Women and Youths to generate income through Agro-processing and value addition of locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables Project". (Phew!)
But what it's really about is teaching women and youths to generate income through agroprocessing. We spoke to the owner of Julie's Zucchini salsa who plans to use the knowledge she gained to expand her business and get her product on the export market:
