Refresher Course For Tour Guides

This week, the Belize Tourism Board hosted a training for tour guide trainers.

It's a move to get the industry back up to mark after many guides left the profession during the pandemic.

And this morning 7News stopped by one of the sessions to get a look at what these trainers were learning and later we spoke to director of Capacity building for the BTB, Abil Castaneda who told us that while numbers for tour guides are almost back to pre-pandemic levels, a little refresher doesn't hurt.
