And in other news, today the Young Women in Leadership program held its mock debate at the National Assembly. 60 women from across the country were selected to represent ministers, area reps, and senators. Similar to the Children's Parliament, which occurs annually, these women were given a motion and they had to develop a speech either in favor or against. Over the course of several weeks, the young women received guidance by other women in leadership, and were able to share experiences and develop camaraderie among each other.
