Global Big Day is an annual event organized by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and eBird, which encourages people all over the world to observe and record as many bird species as possible in a single day. It's essentially a worldwide birding blitz where participants, ranging from seasoned birders to beginners, contribute their sightings to a global database of bird observations.

The Belize Audubon Society took students from southern communities in Belize to celebrate Global Big Day to engage young people in birding and environmental conservation.

Here's a snippet from their initiative.
