Yesterday, our Courtney Menzies was at Kojiri Beach in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. And while it's a long way from home, there's one problem that persists in both countries - litter. While Japan is known as one of the cleaner countries in Asia, their plastic usage is excessive and all that waste ends up in the same place it does in Belize - the water. That's why as part of APIC's Japan Journalism Fellowship, 5 reporters were tasked to help clean up Kojiri Beach. Here is that story.
