He is a University of Belize student with only one semester to go before graduation. But kidney failure has thrown a wrench in Godfrey Sosa's education and today the 23 year old is fighting for his life. Just two days ago, Sosa got the news from doctors that he had already lost one kidney and his second was rapidly deteriorating. He needs a transplant and his sister is willing to donate one of hers. The transplant operation though will cost $30,000 which is why Sosa is hoping you will be able to help save his life. He today told us time is not on his side which is why he is appealing for help.
Godfrey Sosa,
"I am a student at the University of Belize and I am doing my Bachelor's in Computer Science. I am in my last semester and I was actually working which is an internship period for me to graduate in June and now everything is just falling apart. It has made me feel that all my dreams I had planned for such a long time, from when I was little and building and planning up to, it is just coming to an end. I have one of my kidneys that has already failed and I have the other one that is about to fail as well. I have been given a time period of about 5 months before I need dialysis. If it comes to that then I'll have to have sort of financial support to pay that but I really don't want it to come to that. My sister has agreed to offer me one of her kidney if everything matches and if her kidney will be compatible with my body structure and everything."

"The doctor said that the operation would cost somewhere between $30,000 to $40,000 in Mexico City. I am really appealing to the public to please try contributing. A youth my same age just died recently about a week ago and I wouldn't want to be in the same situation. I am really begging for all of us those businesses and for all of those people to please open your heart and please help."
