Most celebrated Mothers' Day on Sunday, but one young woman who became the first mother to give birth was celebrating in a most special way. Today that distinction of being the first new mother of the day earned her some much needed items for her baby from Santiago Castillo Limited. Alfonso Noble visited as the gifts were being handed over.
"This is just a part of Santiago Castillo's socio-economic responsibility to the community. You know Santiago Castillo has been servicing this community for over 70 years and this is just one way for us to give back to the community that has supported us also."
The Huggies Caravan continued to other hospitals in the city to give out similar gifts.
