Another child has been knocked down and this one is in serious condition. The 5-year-old accident victim arrived in the Emergency Ward this morning. He is Daniel Marroquin and information to 7NEWS is that the child was run over by a vehicle this morning. The head of surgery at the KHMH Dr. Jose Moguel says the child is critical.
Dr. Jose Moguel,
"As we could see, there were major injuries to the head and to the chest. He has fractured clavicles, punctured left lung, and stuff so we had to address those things."

What's the condition right now?
Dr. Jose Moguel,
"Critical, the child is unconscious by way of trauma but by way of medication we have resuscitated him."
Police were unable to provide any details on the accident.
