In October of 2005 we brought you a plea for help from 18 year old Christopher Bowman who was suffering from a rare but deadly vascular tumor. After that initial appeal the family did receive some help but not enough for Bowman to undergo the surgery in the United States. Its now three months later and Bowman's health has worsened. As you will see, the tumor has now swollen and engulfed his entire right upper body and is heading for his heart. Doctors say that without treatment it will get worse and his family says the situation is past desperate. His mother Odessa Orosco made a tearful plea for that help today.

Odessa Orosco, Mother
"Keith bwoy it is getting worse. This boy is experiencing dizziness and he feels bad. I notice that he is stressed out and it is growing bigger and bigger in his chest now and I don't know what to do bwoy but I don't want my son to dead on me. I want this thing to come out of his chest because this little boy has been taking care of me from he was young and now he will be nineteen next month."

Christopher Bowman, Needs Surgery
"I got help from some people in Belmopan like Builder's Hardware and Ministry of Health but I need plenty more for me to go away and get this thing removed. I got problem sometimes with this at night time to breathe and sleep and so."

Keith Swift,
What do you need so that your son will get better, so that he will survive this?

Odessa Orosco,
"I need him to get this thing out of his chest because he is isn't sleeping at night. Every night I cry myself to sleep because of him."

The family can be reached at telephone number 622-7665 or on Ebony Street.
