Medical Association on Kimorah's Death

And....in a follow up to an earlier story about Kimorah Leslie's death, The Belize Medical and Dental Association issued a release a few minutes ago. It says the BMDA calls on the KHMH and the doctors to arrive at a quick solution. It also calls on the Ministry of Health not to import doctors because, "it is not a long lasting solution. There are other deep-rooted problems that the tertiary care providers face that must be solved." These include: "lack of equipment, medical supplies, poor compensation for services provided, and a lack of effective communication between management and front line service providers."

The Ministry of Health has not said if these issues will be included in its investigation into the death.
