Private Gough Will Be ICU Chief at KHMH

He has been imprisoned for 21 days for going AWOL from the Belize Defense Force but when he gets out, cardiologist John Gough will have a big time job waiting for him at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. 7NEWS has learnt that the KHMH has officially offered Gough a position as the head of the Intensive Care Unit and technical director of the Accident and Emergency Unit at the hospital. Though he remains imprisoned at the BDF Headquarters in Price Barracks, Dr. Gough has accepted the position.

And along with preparing for a new job, Private Gough has also formally lodged an appeal with the Security Services Commission. Gough is appealing his trial and conviction for going AWOL.
