Lethal Bite in San Roman Village

Last week a man died after being bitten by a coral snake in Xaibe Village in the Corozal district. The news is the same for another man this time however in the Stann Creek District. 37-year-old Juan Cucul of San Roman Village in Stann Creek told police that sometime around 9 on Sunday morning he and his father 53 year old Domingo Cucul were at their farm when Domingo was bitten by a poisonous snake. Despite getting assistance from a local snake Dr. Cucul succumbed to the venom within hours.
