Last week Stephen Okeke told us he wanted the Ministry of Health to withdraw posters on measles and rash which he said were racially biased. The posters hid the faces of Spanish and Asian children but didn’t do the same for black kids.

Well it seems Okeke has won because Director of Health Services Michael Pitts has written to Okeke – promising to withdraw the posters and replace them with another that “protects the identity of all children and that cannot be misconstrued as creating stigma and discrimination of any group.”

But don’t expect him to be happy, Okeke says his next target is UNICEF.
