Last week when the Prime Minister made a quick trip to Miami n what was called personal leave, many feared that his friend and law partner Rodwell Williams who was still in the Intensive Care Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital had taken a turn for the worse. Turns out that it is quite the contrary - Barrow told us there has been a marked improvement in Williams's condition.
Hon. Dean Barrow, Prime Minister

"He is now conscious. I went to see him last week as you know. At that stage he was already fully conscious and able to speak. I now know since I am back that In fact earlier this week, it might have been yesterday or Wednesday that he was moved from the intensive care unit and is now in a general ward. His wife also said that physical therapy has been started, so it is clear that great progress is being made although the doctors will not hazard any opinion as to when he is likely to be discharged or anything akin to that, but they say one step at a time and so far things are looking extremely encouraging."
Rodwell Williams was shot to the midsection on Mary 31st as he left the law offices of Barrow and Williams. He was flown to Miami two days later and had been in an induced coma until only recently.
