Update on Three Year Old Dog Bite Victim

Three year old Carla Cardinez remains in the hospital tonight in stable condition after she was bitten by her neighbor's mixed breed pitbull.

The dog owner who did not want to speak on camera today told 7news that he was in Corozal when it happened and it was his sister o law who was at home trying to get the dog off the child.

He says he will put the dog to sleep, because the child is their neighbor and he doesn't want her to have nightmares.
