That was last night, and today on Ask The Experts, Dr. Manzanero discussed the latest figures which came out this evening:
Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services
"In terms of the preliminary data for today it's pending of course for it to be reviewed 265 samples, 34 positive cases and I say preliminary because the lab will only put it out as a positive case. It could very well be that once you go back to the data you find out that the person has already been diagnose and is only a person that remains positive after a given amount of days, that's why you always have to cross check to make sure that these are in point of fact new cases."
Tonight, the latest figures show 261 samples processed 261 today with 34 of them positive. Four in the Corozal District, 2 in Patchakan, and 2 in Cristo Rey. 9 in the Cayo District, 5 of those in Benque Viejo, one in Santa Elena, 2 San Ignacio, 1 in Yalbac, and 6 in the Stann Creek District. One from the Toledo District who is originally from Belize City, and in the Belize District, 14 cases including Belize City, Burrell Boom, Ladyville, Lord's Bank, Caye Caulker, and Biscayne.
