And, to make sure that progression is towards health and not harm - today the Director of Health Services discussed the key factors that have been consistent co-morbidities of COVID deaths in Belize:

"Because for the Belize context what we are noticing is that there seem to be 2 salient risk factors that are starting to come out in people who are having mortality associated with SARSCOVID2 and those 2 risk factors in almost all case would be hypertension, high blood pressure and obesity. So it's important that we address those situations, because once you start addressing eating or drinking healthy drinks, doing physical activity you are really counteracting the diabetes, hypertension, obesity and obviously the SARSCOVID2 element."
As you heard earlier, there have been 24 COVID related deaths in Belize.
