And while the country recovers from omissions that may or may not have been made the good news is that the vaccine drive has hit the ground running.
Reports from the Ministry of Health today are that 256 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered today bringing the total number of Belizeans who've gotten at least one dose to 673.
And over on San Pedro, a very encouraging inoculation, one that saw Community Policing Officer Harris C Gabourel become the first island cop to get the jab.
Gabourel, who was assigned to the Public Health Department in San Pedro by his Commander, Christopher Noble has been working closely with the island's Health Front liners since March of 2020 and as such became immediately eligible for the vaccine.
