Only One New COVID Case

A single new case - that is what the Ministry of Health and Wellness is reporting today. The last time Belize saw only one daily case was on August 2nd.

It has been seven grueling months battling the pandemic, and surely health workers and the wider public were pleasantly surprised at today's rare low number.

In addition, there were two new recoveries and no deaths recorded. Our death toll stands at 316 - where it has been since March 9th.
