One solution to the transportation problem will see the ministry taking the vaccines to the elderly. Dr. Beer explained how they plan to do this through mobile clinics.

"With traditionally we have mobile clinics to the communities, every community gets a few visits from the medical teams throughout the year and this is no exception. We started out focusing on the urban settings because of the large amount of population, but every district is now moving to providing the vaccines at community level in the rural areas."
