In their Cabinet brief from Wednesday, the Briceno Government announced that the COVID-related lockdown was being extended for Conejo, Midway, and Barranco. Today, the government shared more details about what residents of those Toledo Communities should expect.

A press release says that their lockdown will be extended for 2 more weeks, and it will conclude at the end of the month. A curfew is also in effect until the end of July. The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to provide food packages for all households in these communities for the duration of the lockdown. They are also getting a stipend of $150 per week.

Members of the judiciary and security guards have also been added to the list of "frontline workers". That means that if these persons aren't immunized by August 1, they will need to present a COVID-negative test result to their respective employers every 2 weeks.
