But for those who are actually vaccinated and have their card, will the regulations be different for them? Well, Minister Musa says it's definitely a possibility, but it won't happen right now. However, the topic will be on the table once enough people are vaccinated.

Hon. Kareem Musa - Minister of Home Affairs
"That discussion will be coming up, I can assure of you that because the higher the numbers go up, the more we have to look at actual regulations in that fashion because the vaccinated community is actually saying we have done our part, we are responsible citizens, we need to see some benefits from it and so moving forward that it something certainly cabinet will look at but at the same time we have to realize that the numbers are somewhere at 20% of the target population that has received their double vaccination but we have to hit at least 70% because we cannot monitor 80% of the population with the regulations relaxed and so it's very important that numbers go up before we start contemplating that."

Up until last night, 126,693 people received at least their first dose, and 49,042 people are fully vaccinated.
