And we also asked Minister Fonseca his thoughts on the leaked Auditor's report into the Unemployment Relief Program. The report showed mismanagement of monies, which should have gone to deserving households but ended up in the hands of greedy government workers. While he hasn't gotten a full report on it, he said the matter will have to be taken to the DPP's office.

Hon. Francis Fonseca - Minister of Education
"We have not been given a formal report in Cabinet. The Attorney General and the Ministry of Human Development is planning to do so, to give us a full report. So, we will have to wait and see. But based on the preliminary data and information we have gotten, and again, scandalous abuse, corruption of these social programs. Money, intended to reach people in need, vulnerable, poor people, going into the pockets of certain individuals. So, it is a scandalous affair, we will get a full comprehensive report on it, in Cabinet. Of course, the matter will have to be referred to the police and to the Director of Public Prosecution for further action."
