Earlier this week we told you how Prime Minister John Briceno seems to have escaped catching COVID after his driver was infected.
But, now his Minister of Infrastructure, Development and Housing Julius Espar has contracted the virus - as confirmed by a PCR test - and that will likely force all his ministerial colleagues to get tested - since he attended Tuesday's Cabinet meeting.
Via text message, Espat confirmed that he had contracted it, and said, quote, "I am fully vaccinated, but experiencing little to no symptoms. I will be in isolation until further notice. Thank you for your concern"
We are told Espat's wife tested negative.
