Last night we told you about the mysterious death of Armando Villanueva - from Santa Rosa Village in Stann Creek. Well, more details are known tonight. The 25 year old had allegedly been beaten up in a bar brawl and died days later - but, tonight, police are saying it could be a COVID related death.

He was in a fight between October 8th and 9th in San Roman Village and he was found on the roadside in some bushes the following morning by family members. He was badly injured and was taken to Southern Regional Hospital. Because of the extent of his injuries, he was then transferred to the KHMH.

He got his release on the 15th October and went home. But then two days later while at home he began experiencing breathing difficulties and was again rushed to the Southern Regional on Tuesday afternoon. That;That's where he tested positive for Covid-19 and admitted to ward where he succumbed later that same day. Police report that doctors are unable to determine if he died of Covid-19 or injuries he received from the fight.

So far, of the almost 500 COVID deaths, only 4 have been persons between the ages of 20 and 30.
