And even though one of their members is in dire straits, tonight, the medical professionals who make up the Belize Medical and Dental Association, are continuing their extended discussions on how to provide the best possible care for COVID-19 patients.

The BMDA is in the middle of its 37th Annual Congress, which is themed "Medicine in the Time of Novel Corona". It's a 6-day event, where the medical professionals will get to discuss all the best practices for treatment globally.

This afternoon, the BMDA president granted us an interview via Zoom. She told us that even though the social distancing laws are preventing her and her colleagues from having this congress in person, they are still engaging in robust discussions about the virus across electronic platforms:
