And after that hard backtrack, Chebat followed up by having what looked like a make-up meeting with key members of the KHMH Board of Governors. Now, this is the same board he dissed on Wednesday. But, today he asked them to step into the picture frame for a make-up photo op - where - if body language is any indicator - all parties were not exactly at ease.
A Facebook post says, quote, "Chebat and Dr. Julio Sabido met with Chairman Dr. Andre Sosa and Deputy Chair Arun Hotchandani of KHMH to discuss the way forward to better serve the healthcare needs of the Public. At the meeting MOHW put forth a proposal for the KHMH board's review.
We look forward to implementing these new measures with a view to streamline the Standard Operating Procedures in the Ministry and the KHMH." End quote.
