Eight COVID Deaths Reported

And while the Government continues to navigate the vaccination issues with public officers, the country's death count for COVID keeps rising.

Tonight, the Ministry of Health and Wellness is announcing that 8 new COVID-related deaths were reported over the last 24-hour period. 5 out of the 8 were males, and the other 3 were females. Also, 5 of the victims were unvaccinated, and 3 were fully vaxxed. There are 24 COVID patients who are hospitalized, and out of that number 9 are currently admitted to intensive care.

Out of 1,539 persons tested, a hundred and seventeen were newly detected as COVID-positive patients. The daily positivity rate is 7.6%
