"My little nephew, her son came at my work and the he said that the young ma at the door, the security he says Miss Neesh, her father came and he was on the ground. I left my son at home doing his online and her daughter was coming from school. So, I ask what happened and he said Aunty, help my mom. I say for what and I said get up, nothing happened to your mom. She said she was tired and maybe she just fainted. He said no aunty, she is not breathing."

"I picked up my phone and it was the young lady from BERT, because she is a family friend and she says she has bad news for me and I said you can't be serious, still in disbelief, and so she said that she is gone. She says that she fell in Scotia Bank. She asked how far I was and I told her I am upstairs at Comex."
"Everyone is shocked. It's like they just can't wrap their heads around the whole situation. It's like when you talk about it, you cry, you feel a type of way. But then it's like something still linger, like you know something happened, like it's not a normal day."
"I worry about my mom, and my sister's children. I am the big little sister, so I am the one who knows a lot of things. They are used to their mom. My sister was somebody who always made sure everybody was okay, made sure everybody has everything - that was just her. To make this happened, this si a great loss, not to only our family, but to others. Random people who she would meet, she runs little errands for them."

"The question that will be asked is covid is widespread, could your sister have had covid and not have known it?"
Anisha Robateau, Sister of the Deceased
"To be honest she was never a 100% with the vaccine. She didn't take it and she got tested and swabbed to time, because she works at a business and she has to go to businesses, so I will rule out covid, but with she in the heat all day and then going to all these AC places and all these things, I would say it's something else, but what? I don't know."
Andrea Bowen leaves behind three children and two grandchildren.
