Tonight there are no new deaths to report but there are 1,116 new COVID cases. 318 of the cases are from the Cayo District, 269 from Belize, and 210 from Orange Walk. This takes the active numbers up to 9,579 - which is about the 15th straight day we are setting a record for an ever increasing number of active cases.
But, the slightly good news is that hospitalization numbers are not increasing proportionally. Right now, 20 patients are hospitalized, 5 unvaxxed, two partially vaxxed, ten fully vaxxed, and three not announced. There are also 5 ICU admissions.
And the daily positivity rate has increased to 30.3%. The death toll remains at 622.
