An US Air Force flight arrived today carrying two ambulances, two support trucks, and an array of medical supplies, all donated by the US Embassy to Belize's National Fire Service.

It's all part of a CARSI project to improve accessibility and effectiveness of government services. And today the Fire Chief, Colin Gillett, explained that this donation is one part of the project to improve the National Fire Service. He told us more about it today via Zoom:

And Gillett also told us that this new equipment, coupled with the training the firefighters have been receiving, will significantly upgrade the level of service the NFS provides:
