And the PM admitted that the government needs to do more for the quality of healthcare in San Pedro. And while nothing will bring back baby Kaleel, he reiterated that the island's new hospital is currently under construction.

"My heart goes out to the family, without a doubt. But if you were to remember, we're building a hospital. And we'll be in that hospital hopefully sometime next year. I've not gone lately to check, maybe I should go on between today and tomorrow to see how far the reconstruction is."
"But once we have that hospital, then we'll be able, God willing, to prevent those tragedies that I mean, you know, my heart goes to this family, and I can't imagine it happen to, when my children were small or my granddaughter."
"So, yes, we have to do better. And that is why we're building a hospital in San Pedro."
