He's a born Belizean running for a seat in the United States Congress. Devin Pandy was born in Belize in 1974 but the cowboy hat wearing, former soldier says that America is the home his family chose. Now, after 21 years of military service and 5 tours of duty he's running for a seat as the Congressman North Georgia.
It's not unusual with foreign born nationals barred only from running for the presidency. And if successful Pandy would join a host of Indian-American, Chinese-American, and even Jamaican-Americans who have formed a part of the U.S. government.
