It's not the kind of thing you see every day and 7NEWS was there yesterday when a helicopter swooped down on the KHMH. The impressive maneuver is part of week long us military training exercises landing a medivac Blackhawk helicopter at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Social and Political Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy Edgar Embry told us that the exercise is to ensure that the military can transport injured personnel to the hospital while training in Belize. Presently the U.S. military has two black hawks and a Chinook in the country being used in training exercises.
