4 New Dmax's for BDF Border Patrol

The Belize Tourism Board and the Protected Areas Conservation Trust today donated 4 new pickup trucks to the Belize Defense Force. The four Isuzu Dmax's adds up to $180,000. This morning Minister of Tourism Godfrey Smith and PACT's Executive Director Valdemar Andrade handed over the keys to the BDF. The four pickup trucks will be used by the BDF for patrols in the Chiquibuil Forest Reserve.

At today's ceremony a toll free 24 hour tourism hotline was introduced. It is 0-800-878-000. The hotline will be used for the reporting of tourism related crimes.
