This morning, the General Post Office sent out a release to announce that they would be closed for today and tomorrow.
The Post Office says that this closure has become necessary to sanitise the Post Office. Viewers will remember that the Post Office has had some recent challenges with COVID-19. But, this closure for tomorrow, which is a public and bank holiday, also allows for the General Post Office's staff to carry out their election duties tomorrow.
When Post Office does re-open, it will do so with a temporary schedule. Those temporary opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 12 midday, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
The Registrar General of the Supreme Court also announced that the cashier at the General Registry would be closed at midday today. It is also scheduled to reopen on Thursday, November 12th, at 8 a.m. Again, the closure was necessary because the staff is being utilized for tomorrow's election.
The Registrar General reminds that although there is this closure, persons can continue to file court documents using the court's electronic portals.
