Cabinet Day One Considered Security, Health and Flooding

And ComPol Chester Williams was one of the security experts who addressed Cabinet yesterday. He joined Brigadier General Steven Ortega, and Acting Commandant of the BCG Gregory Soberanis as they briefed the first meeting of the Briceno Cabinet on National Security measures.

Cabinet was also briefed on the public health crisis arising from COVID-19 by DHS, Dr Marvin Manzanero, and Nurse Melinda Guerra.

Colonel Shelton Defour, the coordinator of NEMO, gave a briefing on the impact of Hurricane Eta and floods, while FinSec Joseph Waight along with Ambassador Joy Grant and Kareem Michaels of Central Bank spoke on the state of public finances and the economy.
