And while those cops are facing charges, the Coast Guard has found its sunken vessel.

As we told you last week, two Coast Guard officers, two police men, and a scenes of crime technician were travelling to Turneffe Atoll to investigate a drowning when their 25 foot skiff began taking on water. It quickly sank leaving the occupants at sea for two and a half hours until they were rescued by some divers.

There were no major injuries reported, and today the Coast Guard went fishing for their boat. Reports to our newsroom were that the boat was faulty, and the Coast Guard officers loaded the majority of the weight at the back of the boat, causing it to take on water.

Recovering it should assist in the investigation.
