Taking Trafficking Seriously

Human trafficking is a major issue in Belize and the Ministry of Human Development has launched the new TIP module on their case management system, FAMCare. This initiative is in partnership with ION and the module will enhance the M&E processes of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Council by strengthening the information system and results-based management. The module will also see the development of a multi-agency online platform to investigate, track, and manage cases of human trafficking and will provide an accurate platform for statistical reports and analysis.
