And from judges, we turn to a man much judged. Former terrorist Majid Khan - since he landed in Belize last week, the opposition and many social media commenters have been outspoken in their condemnation of the decision to accept him on a humanitarian basis. They've also said that because he was a terrorist, his presence here now represents what many feel is an internal domestic threat.
But what do regular folks on the street feel about Majid Khan? We wanted to take the temperature on Khan's resettlement, and so we once again took to "the Alberts". Here's what they had to say about the former terrorist now living among us.
Notably, Khan - who is a Pakistani national - born in Saudi Arabia, moved with his family to the US in 1996 and went to high school there.
In a statement ahead of his arrival in Belize, Majid Khan said, quote, "My only wish is to be released so that I can see and hug my daughter for the first time."
