What is a week like in the life of the Prime Minister? Well for Hon. Said Musa it's been state visits to Taiwan and Singapore, a Belmopan meeting with a British army general, and tomorrow it'll be Mexico.
Last week the Prime Minister was in Asia where he visited Singapore and Taiwan. He left Singapore with a commitment for them to continue using the BATSUB training facilities and possible opportunities for training of public servants. Musa was next in Taiwan where he attended the inauguration of new President Chen Shui-Bian and got a commitment from the Taiwanese to assist Belize in building a modern indoor sports complex.
Back in Belize yesterday Musa met with British Forces Major General Alistair Duncan during which he got a commitment to the continued presence of British troops in Belize.
And tomorrow the PM will head to Guadalajara, Mexico for the third summit of heads of state and government of the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
