The Printers’ Association is ever so slowly gaining ground on their suit to have the contract between Print Belize and the government be declared null and void.
Today a major hurdle was overcome when Chief Justice Abdulai Conteh declared that there is absolutely nothing contained within the lines of the contract that prohibits the government of Belize from making it public. With that Conteh ordered that the contract be released to the Printers Association by 12 this afternoon.
That happened and the entire contract was sent to the Printers Association who are now in the process of reviewing the contract in the hopes of finding sufficient grounds for the contract between Print Belize and GOB to declare it unlawful. A date for the continuance of the case is yet to be set.
