...Two weeks ago they asked for the entire government to resign and yesterday they met to consider a revised demand which asks only for the resignation of Prime Minister Said Musa and Home Affairs Minister Ralph Fonseca. According to NTUCB General Secretary George Frazer they yesterday considered it but have neither rejected nor accepted that proposal. He says the council members will need more time and legal advice before they make a final decision on it. That time will likely not come until next week. In the meantime, all strikes and industrial actions remain on stand down.
