But according to Attorney General Francis Fonseca he doesn't know what the Commission's big deal is. Speaking today at the government press briefing, he said government has acted in good faith and fulfilled every obligation to the commission and he is confident the documents will be disclosed.

Francis Fonseca, Attorney General
"There is absolutely no need for any amendment of the Act. The Chief Justice made it very clear that the Commission of Inquiry has the power to access those documents and to summon those witnesses. He said it in his own decision and we have said it before, we've said it to the Commissioners, that they must now go ahead and summon those witnesses and seek the production of those documents and in fact as I understand it, on your interview Jules with Mr. Price, that they have done so and in fact set a deadline for this morning at 10 o'clock for them to do so and I expect the officers of DFC to follow that instruction. That is the law and as it applies and there is absolutely no need for any amendment to the Commission of Inquiry Act."

At newstime, Commission Chair David price had not yet filed a complaint but is expected to do so on Monday.
