As the Public Service Union President, he's proven to be a stubborn thorn twisted in the side of the Musa administration, and last month, the government dispatched Dylan Reneau the public servant to Punta Gorda's Treasury Department. But today Reneau was back in the President's chair at the PSU headquarters in Belmopan.
The Supreme Court today granted Reneau leave to apply for a judicial review of his transfer and in the interim granted an injunction blocking government from enforcing the transfer. The actual merits of the case on whether his transfer was legal will be heard at a alter time. Until then, government is barred from effecting the transfer and he remains in office at the PSU headquarters. Since the mid 90's, the practice has been that the Public Service union President is seconded to the union headquarters full time.
