Jeffrey Prosser is taking the Government of Belize to court...again.
Yesterday, government and Michael Ashcroft's companies held a board meeting with a total of 6 directors which made it clear that the Prosser special share directors had been removed. Prosser's company, ICC today sent out a statement which says that Utilities Minister Ralph Fonseca acted in contempt of the Supreme Court when he stripped ICC of its rights under the Special Share. The release also claims that the government and Ashcroft held an illegal board meeting yesterday because the meeting was in contempt of the Belize Court of Appeals.
Yes, its one more legal tempest sweeping up to government's door from Prosser headquarters in the Virgin Islands and indications are that the legal challenge in the Belize Supreme Court is imminent.
