The UDP pulled almost four thousand voters to its City Council convention a few weeks ago, and to buoy it's floundering political fortunes, it was felt that the PUP had to show considerable muscle at its endorsement event on Saturday.
These images, videotaped by the PUP, show a sizeable crowd at the event to endorse Marshall Nunez. Guest speakers included Mark Espat and Francis Fonseca as well as the Prime Minister.
At the top of the ballot is consistent municipal poll topper Marshall Nunez who will get his first chance to run as mayor. He is joined by returning candidates Yasmin Shoman and Eloisa Trujeque. Leading the list of newcomers are basketballer Keith Acosta, urban planner Carolyn Trench Sandiford, and business owner Oscar Rosado.
