But still on the subject of the City Council, one man who says he was victimized by the Moya administration has, to the surprise of none, landed back on his feet in the Musa administration. Mike Godoy, a devout PUP convert and the former director of the city's Traffic Department, who was fired shortly after the new council took office has now been employed to run the Department of Transport in Belmopan.
Godoy replaces Phillip Brackett the former Transport Commissioner, and also a devout convert, who is recovering from a heart attack he suffered in mid-April. Brackett says he does not expect to return to the transport job.
Godoy, a former UDP opponent of Said Musa in the Fort George division, who has serious crossover credentials, is expected to get the nod the lead the Transport Authority, a reformed version of the Transport
Department.
