As the current Fort George Area Representative, Prime Minister Said Musa is the longest serving standard bearer in Belize City. He's been in the division for thee decades and whatever anyone might say about how dire the chances are for the PUP in the next general election, no one will argue that the safest PUP seat in the city is Said Musa in Fort George. But as in every long relationship there is sweet and there is sour and this afternoon long-time supporters, stalwarts, and soldiers in the Said army called us to say a bitter taste was left in their mouth after they were turned back from Musa's office this morning.

"We call ourselves the PUP soldiers, we are the backbone of the PUP, Fort George itself. We are the ones who they called the bad people or whatever, we are always on the front line supporting PUP. So all we are saying this morning is that the Prime Minister could have taken a little time out of his time to deal with me, deal with Bocco-T.
Nothing is going on with me, I am not doing any crime or thing. Deal with me. When I come to see unu, make sure I see unu because when it is time to vote and so, I am on the front line. I campaign and I do everything. Everybody knows I am PUP. I won't go against the PUP but the PUPs need to understand that this is a time when you need to take care of your real people, your real people who will come out for you. Even if it is raining right now and they say Sandhill, we will go there. We just need to know that we have the bus and where it is leaving from and we don't get money to go to those thing, we go to those things because we are loyal PUPs and the boss needs to understand that yes, you have people who need to see you.
What I am saying is yes the Prime Minister, we want to allow you to see 50,000 people but you can't forget the blue machine which revs from out of Pinks Alley in election and that is we."

"This morning we went to try and see the Prime Minister, they went to try and see the Prime Minister. The man went on a way with the boys saying that they make a lot of noise and this and that. Those are your people. If nobody doesn't go out for Said, Majestic Alley goes out for Said."

"I am not licking road on my Prime Minister. Yes he is my Prime Minister because I am a PUP but I want him to look after the poor people who need help and stop looking after the aristocrats and looking after the poor people. We put you there so look after us. We need help."
